Also picked up a pair of sunglasses at today`s race (105km). They look expensive. If it`s yours, pm me with a description, and you can come and fetch it.

I don't want to complain but rather give some constructive criticism with regards to this event. It was a bit of chaos when we arrived there (it was early) and there were no indications where to go for parking. It looked like it was sorted out later. At the start there was absolutely no controle with the people lining up for the respective distances (105 & 75km). Also no controle with the starting groups. No marshal, nothing. I find this i bit bad since this is a National. Even the PPA races are way way way more organised.

I have to give credit to the local people who helped with the race. I had a really bad crash on a downhill and was taken to the nearest ambulance. The people were very helpful and treated my wounds and even dropped me at my vehicle so i could go to hospital. Yes, they did offer to take me to Ceres hospital but i rather took myself to Paarl medi clinic. Thanks to those who helped me!
