Just switched to a Garmin which was easy to log info but my CS100 didn'tt save any of my Jan rides :(

Nice and easy to import a .gpx file but the IDT workouts have to be entered manually.

There's still time to do one more hoorah today before I post January's totals tomorrow morning!

We've got 70 mtbers, 31 roadies, 9 commuters, 10 runners, 6 swimmers, and 22 people in the most km's!

And remember the challenge runs for the whole year, so you can still enter any time. And saved workouts using other data collections can be uploaded or entered in manually.

By the way, whenever I import a ride on Endomondo it is automatically logged as runnning and I don't do running. Is there a way to set the default import setting to cycling? It would save a bit of irritation of having to change this manually all the time.

I get the same problem. Quite irritating! Haven't been able to figure out a way around it yet.

If you use your mobile phone, go into setting (in Endomondo), and for Sport choose what you want. You can set this on the website under settings as well.

I think Garmin devices send the correct sport (Mine does...)

I get the problem when I try to upload a .gpx file - for some reason it saves it as running. Using the phone or manually entering in the workout I can set the type of sport.

Change your "favorite sport" in your settings. It's set to running by default. This should fix your problem.

I also import from a gpx file.

I see under the settings page that there is a field "Favorite Sport" which I have now set to cycling. I will check tonight when I upload today's rides.

Will let you know if it works.

not to be rude, but maybe you are going so slow that it could be interpreted as running? :w00t:

Just a joke guys

I'm surprised then that you don't have any problems with getting your workouts uploaded as "walking" :whistling:
