Everybody that had benefit from the Canada tandem guys, you were lucky to have them there, they finished just behind us (also on a tandem). The had a flat else they would not have been there when you hooked onto them - they kick our a$$es all the time :)

I find this incorrect indication of race distances a real problem, my computer indicate 104.84 - it's slightly further than the advertised 97 - tsk !

That's another good question greenhorn, early this afternoon the results for the VW Herald was available... what's taking them so long with the Emperors results ? They are probably adjusting the averages etc to accomodate the 103+ km distance, else some toys will be thrown out of cots all over the place ! lol

Results are out. Racedrek fails again. Long turnaround, time 100 and 50km mixed (winner did 60km/h!), at present can't search by group, etc.

I would much rather do 105 than 97 on this route, so I was quite happy. Also, you should learn the route and race from there - don't watch the clock! ;-)

We had a fight. A real one. Mixed group CL DL EL. Cruising along Rondebult at about 85 km mark . Two guys start bumping each other . One guy falls , other guy stops . Fists start flying. Both on the ground wrestling ,hitting. Group carried on . Don't know who won.

Nice race .

Immature ar$eholes...

The race organisers did a good job, BUT how do they get the distance wrong every year. Also had it as 104km

Glad I'm not the only one who did like 103 km then. Well organised race, I have to say. Didn't everybody get the LED lights with their 'race pack'?

Some woman came down hard, anyone know how she's doing?

LED lights, HELL NO!! I got nothing!!! just a stupid Rudy project mag, net even an information leaflet.

by now i suspect they just call it 97km to get the entry numbers up because 100+ has a mental barrier............

Glitches are sorted out. Results are up and indexed.
