I wonder if the CL rider getting busted will also get as much airtime?

He attacked us bottom of Black Hill and I had no idea who he was so I let him get on with it. Then in Noordhoek I was told we better start chasing in earnest. John caught him with 1k to go. Though EPO was believed to be widely used in the 1990s in certain sports, there was no way at the time to directly test for it, until in 2000, when a test developed by scientists at the French national anti-doping laboratory (LNDD) and endorsed by the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) was introduced to detect pharmaceutical EPO by distinguishing it from the nearly identical natural hormone normally present in an athlete’s urine.

So I may have misconstrued it by-accident-on-purpose. Sure, many things are 'natural' and are either poisonous or on the banned list. Maybe my phrasing was off. I was reacting to brands like USN that have a million products all with packaging that looks like one dose will turn you into the bionic man, thanks to some 23 syllable patented ingredient. I'm more drawn to brands like Hammer, where they have a small product range, probably more control over the manufacturing process, better regulated, and present themselves as food not orally-injected nano-technology.

Anyway on a more serious note Spinnekop, I really admire you for putting in all the effort to make sure you don't take any wrong stuff...especially when you are sick. Me I have stop caring a couple of years ago....I take my protein shake after a race...drink a carb drink and eat as much red meat as I can get my hands on!! And when I am sick I take whatever the doctor gives me..get better and get back on my bike as soon as I can. If I get busted for taking meds that was the best thing for me at the time, then so be it..they can go ahead and ban me anytime. Think someone said it here, why should we worry about stuff like that anymore? We are now fun riders that like to race in our age cats and compete to the best of our ability. I race clean....hell I don't even train on anything but water most of the time. I’ve got slight asma(spelling?) still and really struggle with it from time to time but I don't even use an asma pump...to much of a schlep. If someone want to use drugs to make him faster he can go right ahead and enjoy it....makes no difference to me, I am still going to show up and try and beat everybody there and if I can't hopefully one of my teammates can do it.If not we go home and try again next week!! It's FUN!!

You Johannesboggers don't need to be on anything to give us Capies a hiding at the Argust what with the drop in altitude. What chance do we stand when you arrive here ripped to the gills on PED's?
