Ah, well, I'm sure the ban will put a dent in his retirement.

I see they're annulling all his results from 2005 to 2007. Did he even have any results from then to be annulled?

Hmm, busy indeed, selectively though me thinks.!

I dont see the ban worrying him much as he is not competing anyway, but annulling his achievements from 2005 - 007 is, to my mind just juvenile.

Cool, ban every retired person in sport and see if they care??? I mean, AB traded in 2 race medals for 18 months off his ban......

If you want to hurt a rider then ban him for 2 years when in competition as this will hurt him financially.

I think he was third in the tour 005, I think he also has a tour de Suisse win in there somewhere, but 2006-007 was pretty barren.

“Given the volume, consistency and probative value of the evidence presented by the UCI, and the failure of Jan Ullrich to raise any doubt about the veracity of reliability of such evidence, this Panel came to the conclusion that Jan Ullrich engaged at least in blood doping in violation of Article 15.2 of the UCI Anti-Doping rules,” the court said.

Again, Lance better look out. You can get banned based on association and someone else's word.

Yeah, blood doping, in my opinion the only dope in this case is worrying what he did 7 years ago - like a bunch of whimpering school girls.
