Four of those i missed were Kings games, did honestly not think they would win 3 and draw against the mighty Brumbies in an away game.

i got the first match right, no one gave them a hope against the force so it was easy pickings.

don't think anyone got that draw correct

This whole relegation concept is so tricky. So a number of Kings players had agreed terms with the Bulls etc before the last relegation play off this Saturday but they could only sign once release terms in their contracts (Kings are relegated) came into play.

So if these new contracts represented a pay hike for them there was absolutely no reason to beat the Lions and be stuck with their existing contracts at the Kings. This would be the case for all your players who had breakthrough seasons and are now better regarded than 12 months ago.

Makes sense. I'm sure there are others that will be plying their trade at the bigger unions with much more opportunities. Why beat the Lions if you can play for the Bulls, WP or Sharks?

SA must be very careful at the 2016 SANZAR S15 negotiations. Our development problem (i.e. Eastern Cape rugby) is not the Kiwi's and Ozzie's advertising problem (i.e. selling television advertising space at 03h00 in the morning down under for SA games). SA is financially more realistically aligned with the Northern Hemisphere. Similar time zones and shorter travel. But no competition we can partake in up North. mmmmm ...........

but we've been paying to develop the australian game ever since the brumbies was created out of thin air.

who says we don't have the players to fill a sixth franchise, we've got plenty playing outside our borders due to limited opportunities here.

I'm not saying we can't present a sixth franchise. It's the guys down under who don't want it because of travel, time of view for SA games, and the fact that not every team gets to play each other. The competition structure is already crowded. I think you made similar comments in an earlier post?

I'm going to blackmail CWC in donating a hardtail 29er for first prize.

pretty sure ASG have a solar backpack that we can use for 2nd place.

plus we could always stretch Admin's rubber arm to include a hubkit
