Think it will be a good encounter. Cheetahs always do well at Newlands although they must be the underdogs. I've got a couple of bets on the Cheetahs winning - but at 2/1 or 3/1 odds!

So I lost one or two bets, but it was a close, tough and entertaining encounter. Cheetahs scrum was solid. Some of the options taken by the Cheetahs half-backs in the second half cost them the game, and they couldn't convert possession and territory into points. But I do like that Piet van Zyl at scrumhalf - great player.

Ah yes, the expected response. Pity the Stormers only put 17 points on the board against the same wooden spooners (oh wait, next excuse ready, "but that was away from home") and the Bulls don't play them.

But not to worry.... like I said, keep one eye over your shoulder... ;)

Yeah sharks did well at home against the force, but in this competition you cannot judge how good a team is based on how many points they scored against a team compared to what other teams scored against that team. Each week is different.

And you do know that 3 teams from 1 conference can make the playoffs right? So hopefully the Sharks can finish top 6 as well as Stormers and bulls and then have 3 Sa teams competeting for the trophy

Will be a very rare occasion where I support an Aussie team, plus Reds did look like they were starting to find some form last week. Or was that just the Crusaders playing poorly. Will see tomorrow

Old Jean reckon they need to go back to the drawing board. The Stormers peaked 8 weeks ago (way to early) as others are coming into form.

That's fine if we lost form and still winning it's not a bad thing

With the 4 week break coming up all the teams gaining momentum now will probably lose it and I'm sure the Stormers can regroup in those 4 weeks

Form is dictated by injury count as well.

This S15 tournament is one big endurance event.

Losing Carr was a big blow.

And a few other loose forwards.

Schalkie Hulkie is gonna make a return after the Test window.

Awesome game of ruggers.

Flair, flair, flair on both sides.

Didn't get to watch the whole game only the first half as I had to rush out for mothers day celebrations. I did follow second half on twitter and that was exciting enough.

Weekend of upsets- Hurricanes, Rebels, Reds and nearly the Stormers loss

Next three weeks will be interesting i reckon as the top teams try survive at the top of the log

True, it does show form of a class team who manage to win even though they're not playing their best rugby. What does keep me wondering about the Stormers though is that they have been building a team for a few seasons now and they do need to peak (win some major silverware). When they choked in the semi's last year coach AC reckoned "it's a learning curve". For how many seasons does he envisage going through this learning curve? Compared to say the Bulls who lost half their team at the end of last season who are supposed to be building from scratch. I think they surprised most by how competitive they are this season. The same goes for the Brumbies.

The Stromers is a good team but they seem to be battling to make the transision to a championship outfit. If they can't do it this season, when will they or will they ever?
