Red Zone Posted February 23, 2012 Posted February 23, 2012 Good luck, not too many guys get under three in the E Group, make sure you start at the front of the group and make sure you get a clear run up Edinburgh Drive, many a sub three attempt has been foiled there due to an unfortunate split in the group

DId a 3:34 last year on my 26 inch Full Suspension with slicks, starting in group M. What time can I aim for? Did a 3:02 at the Rollercoaster on the same 29er the other day. Pure Savage Posted February 23, 2012 Posted February 23, 2012 Starting in F, hopefully push some guys at the front of F hard and join you in E Â Last year my lift was late to the start and I got shafted as the last person in the G group, spent the entire distance to Smits just catching the front of G. Then tried to stay with the break up Smits, that did not end well.

Tubehunter Posted February 23, 2012 Posted February 23, 2012 The first 45 riders in E got a sub 3 last year and the winning time was 2:56. Doing a sub 2:50 will be a superhuman effort of note! As it is E worked very well together last year and had a far better result than the D group ahead of them. No doubt TinyK did a big share of work upfront! Anone have a split time calculator for 2:58 at the major waypoints? LOUDMAC 1
