I see there is a few threads going with people from different starting groups wanting to work together / challenge each other.

In days gone past, there used to be an informal North vs South challenge, where people in various groups put their target time down, and whoever is from the "other" side and looking at doing same / better time, got paired up. After the Argus it got tallied and a "winner" declared.

Unfortunately I do not have the time to co-ordinate this, but can get it started.

South; Wannabe; H group; 3:15

I thought the North had given up trying to beat the South. Glad to see this *might* be on again.

South; A group ('cause apparently I suck at being a SubVet - thanks CycleTour); As fast as possible

Ahhh damn... why does everybody wants to race when I am going with the missus for "a lekker jol"? Otherwise it would have been one for north at least...

I'm just going to do it to enjoy it and finish it, have been sidetracked due to an injury.

South, PA, 5:30

Excellent any excuse to show a Gautie how to ride around our town.

South: B group - Because I also suck at being a SubVet, but even more so than Velouria (but then I have two kids to blame)

I remember a North South challenge on the hill climb the day before that generated lots of interest

Dude, it's the Argus - not some local church fun ride. It's not called the Fun Ride World Champs for nothing. Save the "lekker jol" for those small regional races like the 94.7.

I'm pretty sure my missus would be keen to race your missus and you - if she wins the South gets two points!

Foe Fighter - race two of the 3D loser competition happens this Sunday, and I think CrashTestDummy is eager to hand back the floating trophy - beware...
