hey hubbers,

as mentioned in a previous post, i had the bad luck of a shoe misfortune, my sole is splitting on my old shoes so i had to get new ones today, who knows of a place that could help with a cleat setup before the Argus??

i am trying to fit them to the best of my knowledge but i don't really want to get stuck into the Argus with a bad setup!

i wonder if you are mocking me here ??

is it loose on the shoe or when on the pedal? if the shoe:

you will always tighten clockwise and loosen anti clockwise, don't strip the screw

if loose once clipped as far as i know there is an adjustment screw underneath your actual pedal on the bike..... that should be tightened...

I'd love to say try Renay Groustra at Epic bikes over in plumstead. You gonna have to call em earlier to see if they can assist.

I don't think John O'Connor do an ergofit/cleat setup.

But give them a call to check, otherwise try Cyclelab and Olympic Cycles.

you have probably been riding like this for a while with the one cleat being looser than the other best to just leave it alone experiment with adjustment next week. Besides the yellow cleats are not supposed to be fixed rather they have some float.

Which shimano cleats do you guys prefer? red or Yellow. Been riding with the yellow ones and my wife bought the red ones as replacement. Still havent put them on though....

so cleats were fine but i tightened the damn ratchet clip too tight!!!, started getting serious pains in both feet on the down hill after suikerbos climb!! :(

loosened them around camps bay but definitely cost me some time as i was battling to pedal, felt like nails going through my feet .... argghh so disappointed , ended up with a 3:38 on my Polar :( really wanted to break 3:30....
