ACM Posted June 7, 2012 Share Wonder what is happening to the seeding indexes. A bunch of us at work (+- 5 guys) all had good races at Hazeldean (compared to our normal positions, time, etc.) - I would say better as then past races and all of our seedings went up by 2 to 5% in the last calculation. I understand the calculation process (SAS seeding document), but I've never trusted the process and it's not replicable for Jo Soap. Jo Soap cannot calculate his SAS Seeding index to confirm. In golf every golfer understand the handicap system and can calculate your own handicap and it matches the handicap system. Even the system is more 'user friendly' as it shows you more information in terms of which scores count and which not, etc. etc. I really think they need to get a better system, simpler and more predictable. Although there seems to be a complex formula that puts you where you are in the system. I am moving from a 20km to a 40km... so I guess I have to start all over again. Looks great though!
