It's a 2010 Demo 8 II, with black Boxxer Rc2c, X0 shifter and rear derailleur, yellow Nuke Proof platform pedals, and a Fox DHX4 rear shock.  The @#$ers broke open a security gate and cut if off where it was locked to a bolt in the wall...
Capricorn Posted April 5, 2012 Posted April 5, 2012 a demo 8.. my word, i'd love to claim the steal on that bit of gorgeousness.. but alas, i have scruples. Really hope you get her back. A DH bike is not your every day'er with a small market. It's gonna be hard to swing and have it 'blend in'.

Scary thought. They certainly went through a lot of effort. Seems like they knew exactly what they wanted and where it was.

Edge_Design Posted April 5, 2012 Posted April 5, 2012 A bike like that from Claremont is very likely to be sitting at Neil's house in the top of Wynberg (they seem to move very quickly from houses in Claremont to his garage - personal experience)... Unfortunately no way to go and check.

This many thefts of expensive bikes in such a short times stinks of insiders, There is no way this just a random theft.
