Which is more comfortable for long distance triathlons like half distance IM and full IM events?

In my opinion tri pants and tri top

Also agree, Top and shorts because:

1. U might have a great pair of shorts that always works

2. Ur sizing might be different like a bigger torso and small waist, so u might wear M shorts but large top.

3. U can mix and match (for the style conscious)

4. Tri suits tends to stretch in front and show off your tackle.

regardless of what you wear you are seldom comfortable finishing an IM :whistling:

Two piece tho and not the one that looks like a bra

For the longer events where you might want to take a pee (or if you have a nervous stomach before a race) the two piece works much better.

Ive got the full suite, and with the above above statement, I could not agree more.

Theres nothing more worse than suiting up, for your body to then tell you ... you need to pee.

Get the two piece.

I prefer a 1 piece. But, if you're planning on doing IMSA you may as well get a two piece as you will need to wear the spec savers shirt that they give you (provided you do the subsidised entry) and will need to wear it over your 1 piece anyway.

Make sure you wear both top and bottom under your wetsuit as trying to put a tight fitting shirt onto a wet body after the swim can be a bit of a mission and wastes time in transition.

I am currently using the two piece and I also found that I wear a L top with a M short. Ok I will stick to the two piece then. The peeing reason is reason enough.

yep... one piece leans more towards olympic distance races where wetsuits are a rarity or if you need to plaster your kit with sponsors and surname and province or country decals

I like my Tri-suit, just feels right

If peeing is not an issue for you with a bib then a good tri-suit will not be a problem. I have a 2xU and not having to worry about how it sit during the race is really worth it. really peeing is not a problem. That is if you are a man.

I suggest the tri-suit because you have small pockets that you can put stuff in, it is very comfortable to swim in and run and cycle with. if you are build like the hulk then it is not going to work but most tri-suits are very stretchy so it does not bother. Jut need to find the one that fits.
