Hi all!

I'm looking for a pair of baggy mtb shorts, like the fox shorts. Does anyone know where I can find them, or simmilar?

Thanks!

Lycra dude! Baggy pants will just get snagged on branches and stuff  While you at it, shave your legs, they are easier to get clean smooth, compared to covered in steel wool.

However, if you are a fashion concious MTBer, and like to fit in, EDB has some good suggestions. You might find some bargains at Solomons as well, but not sure they have a branch in 'behind'

You have clearly fallen behind the times buddy ... all the Mtbikers wanna look like Roadies ... that's the fashion!

Gone with hairy legs, helmet peaks and baggy pants ... in with white shoes, tanned shaven legs and even bigger wheels!

Bunch of wannabee's

Think we are driving towards the same point...

How many Epic riders wore baggy pants?

You will be able to get a fairly good selection at Cajees in Boksburg, they stock alot of the Indolo range, geared for MTB, and yea, its much better with baggies, leave the tights for the wives...................or roadies!!!

Very brave for a newbie.... ;)

Merely my opinion, see no reason why mountain biking needs to be drawn into a constant time trial, its about the trails, not the time (unless you running competitive then sure) Roadies wearing tights i can understand, but MTB.......hmmmmmmm, very debatable.

You wont be doing any riding when your baggy pants gets snagged on the first bush and you end up looking for your teeth.

No debate ... NONE of the pros or even serious riders wear baggy mtb pants ... they get snagged on the saddle when you try and move in behind it, the padding does not stay in place, it constantly moves around and is just plain uncomfortable.

And runners dont wear them either!

You wear your baggy pants when you do your one weekly ride to the parkie and back right?

 I rather hang on a tree by my baggies than look like a roadie ! Solomons got nice Indola's .

So you wont be getting a 2naaainer either!

Always a smart@ss somewhere.................. I have tried lycra before, and have fallen with them, and yes they too ripped, dirt stuck to it. My shorts take the beating, no rips even after numerous rock garden dismounts.... dirt sheds off them....When it comes down to it, who cares what you wear as long as you are comfortable and ride.

Too bad certain individuals have to revert to personal insinuations to make their personal opinions noticed, either way, just dont expect me to have drinks with you in your full-body spandex after my one weekly ride in the parkie.

I got my Fox ones from buycycle.co.za, they had the best price.

Oh by the way, I have ridden in baggies for years and never snagged on anything. I'm not a pro so I don't need to be aerodynamic and I wear the tight stuff under them, not with their movable lining.

I also have no desire to look like a ..... in tights.
