Maybe you should swallow the cyanide, TJOP!!!

Shame, feeling a little unloved.

Your name is very apt, the real Sadam also believed that he was never wrong,

Now go and dig yourself a hole!

Poor dude, he just picked the wrong one. Sani2c as a name, for all intensive purposes, is accurate, however, Joberg2c... a tad less accurate. Not that it matters, but anyway...

Sadam, you may not have a clue, but at least we know you're trying. So, here's a "well done" for that.

going through Underberg two weeks ago,on ihe way to Sani Pass,I pointed out to by wife where the race started.

At Underberg, she was supprised, as she was under the impression it was linked to Sani Pass.

Admittingly she had never been to Sani Pass, and does not know the area. Thanks for informing me the area is known as Sani,as I can now tell her the name is correct.

am i the only one to notice this, am i on crazy pills?!!?!

but why for the love of all things holy is it called the sani to sea if the race doesnt include sani pass???

it's like having the new york marathon in miami, or back in the day, calling it the paris dakar but starting in london.

maybe they should rather call it the - nowherenearsani2c

i'm also gonna market a mountain bike race using a spectacular natural phenomena to boost it's credibility. i'm calling it...

The Kilimanjaro 2 C !

the route will be from breedts nek to wemmer pan.

Dude, you don't get out much, do you?

I.

  • 2 weeks later...

Apparently when the Sani2C was originally organised it would have started at Sani Pass (not sure where exactly).

That year the race experienced a lot of rain, so much so that many "normal" vehicles could not get to the planned start point.

The race start was then moved to Underberg School, this worked out well for the race organisers and racers alike, they decided to keep the start at Underberg School.

This is from a source that has done the Sani2C eight times now, so I'm sure it is pretty accurate. :whistling:

Oh before I forget:

I do not think so...

It would have been a logistical nightmare to do it from there... I am sure it was not accurate at all!

This sounds like the one of stats that 95% of all people believe everything they are told! :)

We were indirectly involved in the first one. Always was going to start from the school.
