CRC deliver: Double quick time...

Impulse bought a sale item off CRC on Sunday afternoon.

 

Logged on 10 minutes ago, to start tracking the order - wanted to get a guestimate of how long it would be at Customs etc. etc.

 

DHL website - item was delivered just after lunch this afternoon. Signed for by one of the secretaries.

That's 2 and a half days, Belfast to Stellenbosch.

 

I know there are plenty of these posts around - but man, it rocks when it happens to you!

I ordered some stuff recently and it had a status of processing for over a week. It was over Easter so they were probably short staffed.

 

And I had the stuff within 2 weeks of placing the order so yeah. not bad at all.

I'm going to order over the weekend. XTR 2x10 Crank. With the voucher discount it's around R2850. Bargain! Won't order spokes though

Spokes? I want 290/292mm Revo's in silver. And could not get them locally. The lbs told me that the agents was out of stock.

I ordered on Monday and the knob Jamie at CRC still hasn't sorted out my spokes. CRC are cool, but wheels and spokes are their downfall

I can't ride a 44/30. I guess that's why the crank is on Special. I ordered the 40/28 from CRC, much closer to the 39/26 XX combo I have on my other bike.

Placed an order on Sunday. It's still in "Processing" mode. I took the free shipping, so I guess they can take a little longer to pick the stock and pack the box.

My cheaper/free option took 24 days to reach the post office. And remember the VAT.
