I think he gets the Porsche anyway. The bet was for the green jersey. A ni e green GT3 RS.

True indeed!

Sky did well to deliver the Cav in the right position.

Sprinting is all about position and then timing.

Of course, strength through speed too, and when Cav licks his front wheel like that...

What a sprint, Cav' is a legend. Full stop. End to a good tour, a worthy winner and a lot of new prospects starting to come through. Gutter Jens didn't pull something off but next year is another tour and you never know.

Right, lets see what Spain has to offer... reckon this is going to get interesting.

He'll be racing til he's 50, so plenty of time! Edited by Chro Mo

Bring on 2013!

Wiggins was the best this year. A true champion.

Next year will determine whether he is a Great champion.

With Conatador and Schleck there, we will truly see the measure of the man.

For now, Wiggins deserves to be Champion!

Wiggins inherited the right DNA from both parents, he was winning early and getting special permission to ride in adult races because he was too good for his junior peers.

Have I missed something, or has it only taken Pinarello 2 weeks to get Wiggens a yellow bike??? If I remember correctly Voeckler got his yellow Colnago overnight in the last Tour that he wore yellow.

Wiggins only wanted a full yellow machine once he was certain of overall victory i.e. on the final stage to Paris...

Wiggins is a traditionalist, accepted a few yellow bits of the bike before today but left the full yellow for the end.

Notice the black shorts with the yellow jersey? Cav too, black shorts with the rainbow jersey. They are steeped in tradition and know the rules.

Rule #15

Black shorts should also be worn with leader’s jerseys.

Black shorts, or at least standard team-kit shorts, must be worn with Championship jerseys and race leadership jerseys. Don’t over-match your kit, or accept that you will look like a douche.

Noticed the yellow sunglasses worn by Team Sky today?
