 That's an insightful comment there Punch. Would never have thought that had I not been told.

I think his heart and mind wants a 4th win.

His legs disagree.

:-D

Where do you think Wiggins has it over Evans? Seeing the last two stages Evans looked like the aggressor, has plenty of ideas and seemed to finish stronger. Is that just because he's 10 secs down or has he got more reserves to draw on?

Look, Evans is def more worried this year than last about a overall win. He is trying harder in the stages to make a gap to try and get every second he can over wiggy. He knows wiggy will increase that gap over him tomorrow and he is trying to stay in contention. With a rest day on Tuesday neither rider is going to hold back tomorrow. I expect Evans to try a lone break away like schleck did come the proper mountain stages.

Wiggins has the edge with 10 secs, uncanny TT ability and one helluva team of servants.

Evans has to 'chase' yellow.

Tomorrow's stage will be one intense scene to follow.

Race was a bit boring till the last bump imo. Even then all attacks were easily contained. Glad Pinot stayed away at least.

Getting back to that Wiggins is so arrogant BS, "It’s a tough day but the climbs aren’t really that hard. It’s not a full on mountain day, so I don’t know what to expect. You just take what comes on the road really. As I’ve said in the past, I’m not trying to think too much anymore, you can think too much about these things. We’ll just see how it pans out on the road."

Sorry but have I been watching a different Wiggo to everyone else? I haven't seen or heard anything 'arogant' from him... he's the favourite along with Evans to win and he's talking like a guy who believes it. In all his interviews it's about the team and I think he is being remarkably honest about it. Nib's is running around mouthing off and talking game. Wig is trying to calmly deal with racing, leading and the 100 people that want a piece of him every day before and after the race.

What do you want from your champ? Sit there quietly saying 'you know I'm not that special, i might win but honestly its a total surprise how I'm here..."

Classic moment in the post race press conference with Wig's:

Q: What is the red, white and blue on you jersey for?

A: Just to show my love for Thomas Voeckler...

Yeah, someone shut up that Azzuri and let him do the talking with his legs...

Like Sagan does.

Cadel looks like he is finding it tough, but watching him its clear that even if he isn't in the best form, his attitude, drive and mental strength are second to none.

How awesome was the FDJ manager shouting at Pinot!! There is the passion we've been missing, agree with previous post, love it when a Breakaway makes it stick, this tour will be won in the ITT, but lost in the big mountains.
