bradwentzel Posted June 14, 2012 Share Sworks. More support/parts should something break. Those Lefties can be a pain... and Spez brings a truck
Toxic Posted June 14, 2012 Share if you can get hold of an spez epic! I went with Scalpel 2 because there is no stock available on epic expert for whole of 2012. I've got the scalpel within a week, and support on dale's also good at the epic. Edited June 14, 2012 by Toxic

kosmonooit Posted June 14, 2012 Share Remember Suzzie won the world MTB cup on Scalpel 2000 back when he was riding for 'dale...? The Lefty is a great piece of engineering. Also 29'er Scalpel has evolved rear suspension, on a pivot now. But It's down to personal choice. Either bike is not going to make any diffs. in your results. barrynorman Posted June 23, 2012 Share The lefty fork is a pain. Not robust enough, expensive to replace/repair.Chucked mine and fitted WC rock shock.Scalpel looks a lot prettier
Zac.A Posted June 23, 2012 Share go Cannondale! I've got two flashes, one 26er and one 29er.26er was bought secondhand and everything needs to be paid for.29er was bought new, have got 2 new spiders, new axle, now a lefty service, all free. Cannondale support is the best by far.
