There is nothing stopping you building your self a frame!

It's a Paris-Bress fork crown

Would love to come back to S.A but it will be a uphill battle convincing people to ride steel.

Biggest cost would be a jig I would imagine.

Maybe I could email you and chat about it.

Yes Generally South Africans are hell bent on the latest technology carbon.

And if you look at the cost of a custom steel frame, you can buy a really good carbon frame, but in 40 years the carbon frame will be on the dump (Probably cracked).

I own a 1968 Cinelli SC Pista and a 1989 Colnago Master, I want to see Carbon last that long.

I am very impressed with your work mate.

I am happy to help. it's a satifying process malking a frame that you can ride.

This is a cheap jig, should last for a couple of frames http://www.flatpackfoundry.com/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=50

I interviewed Ron Cooper who recently passed away, he never used a jig in the 60 odd years he was building

That man was a pure legend and his frames were awesome. Two of my best bikes had to be a Cooper 753 and a Chas Roberts TLX.

Wish I hadn't got rid of them for the next new thing!

Thanks for the help.

I have been looking at this jig, but was not sure if it was worth the money because of what it is made of.

Wish I could get hold of some old stuff from Gotty Hansen or alike.

This jig seems to be the most cost effective.

Once again, thanks for the info.
