I'm on the bus, suddenly diver swerves and boom. Bus driver goes 4x4 and managed to keep the bus upright. Oncoming taxi were head on and bus driver managed to swerve, taxi has hit us on the side. I was lucky to sit in the top half, all windows broken in the bottom section and some people got hurt. With 2hour delay to my journey to visit my gf, I believe there is a God that watches over us. Some guy in the taxi wasn't so fortunate. Its a pity, because taxi shouldn't be on the road. My heart goes out to the victims family.

Now I'm on a new bus, well settling in nicely next to a lady breast feeding her baby.

TIA

I always wanted to make a video game like GTA, but a RSA version. Got to drive around the country avoiding hijackers, taxis, potholes, corrupt piglets, overladen trucks, unroadworthy buses, cars with no lights at night and my favourite, the car with the burnt out piston rings that envelops you in dense grey smoke etc. Jokes aside, everytime you drive on our roads (driver or passenger) and make it home be thankful. Its chaos out there!

Wow, glad you're okay my friend.

Are you safe in Bloemies yet?

Thanks E, had a awesome super time here in cold ol'bloem. Now on bus heading south again to slummies. Tomorrow at work is gonna be a long day, but who cares being tired, it will only be for 8hours.

Train hard, keep fit and stay warm.

Glad you are okay. Kudos to your bus driver for managing to keep his passengers safe. Unlike the taxi driver...

Someone far greater than the bus driver was driving the bus at the time. Imagine a bus going 120, swing left off the road onto gravel, swing back onto road and keep it in one lane, and for a bus being top heavy. The body roll of the bus, made me thought. Okay here we go. This all still we doing 120km/h.

God was hard at work there. The driver was just in the seat.

Wow, kudos to the bus driver.

I had a vaguely similar experience, but all I know is when I woke up the guy next to me had grabbed my leg and it felt like the bus was going to tip over... It was cold raining and on a roadworks section.

When I woke up I didn't know what was more scary, the guy grabbing my leg or the tipping feeling. Anyway, he let go when he woke up too.
