Just kidding.I have ridden there twice on my SS both times I ran 32:18 and I kakked off but only had to push up the last bit of "the gulley". Your a lot stronger than me and you could probably run that gear but depending on how serious you are congestion could mess with your momentum making it a tough day.Personally I'm running a 32:20 but not gonna set any records just gonna enjoy the vibe and the beer stops. Flippa Posted July 11, 2012 Share The route is the same as the Thaba Thoughee route. I rode it on Saturday on a 32x19 and was broken by half way. The second half of the route has more steeps than the first half. Needless to say, I'm gearing up to a 20 rear cog and will try it again on Saturday. Guess Ill just have to ride it again and again and again until the event.The only advice I can give is don't run a gear to impress other ssers. You'll suffer and the big boys dont impress easy.
