  1. I would suggest that the admin team contact all the people who purchased items from him on bike hub (as can be seen by the ratings and bike hub pay etc) and inform them that their items are possibly stolen goods and allow them to trace the original owners and return the goods to them or hand them over to the investigators.
  2. For me, Lenzeheid and PMB are the 2 best tracks. Never had the opportunity to ride Monte Sainte Anne, but it would be up there with the 2 of them. Shaka's playground was a brilliant section and the original tree house rock garden. Mike
  3. I’ve ridden Albstadt ( and other xco tracks on the calendar) . And it is FAR from dangerous. Yes it’s steep. Yes it’s slippery in the wet. But your average SA xco is far more dangerous. Uci tracks are technical and make you work for your money. But they are safe. The “run off” areas where you likely to crash off course are well groomed and not going to kill you like sa tracks where you hope you not impaled with a branch/ rocks / or some other hazard. Albstadt devils corner is of the steepest sections on the calendar. But I think one section in La Bresse is steeper. But the entrance is straighter making it easier to ride.
  4. I use these daily and it’s fantastic. Best I’ve used. https://uniortools.com/eng/product/1753-2B-straight-pull-spoke-pliers#947101
  5. Both hubs will fit on the new lefty’s. Only difference is if you bought a lefty 50 hub is to place a 6mm boost spacer on the disc to space the rotor to the correct position for the caliper. All lefty hubs fit the current lefty 2 and ocho lefty’s. Then you can swop wheels easily.
  6. A token ninja is a great bb. Also remember in future you won’t need to replace the whole bb. But rather just replace the bearings in the bb. 6806 bearings.
  7. Shifter will click 10 times for 11 speed. And 9 for 10 speed. Don’t lube inner cables with anything. On a road bike they will shift best over a longer period if “dry” Did you use a derailluer alignment tool to set the hanger? If you in the jhb area you welcome to pop in and I can take a look. 8. Here is my “I’m tired of tripping over my stand setup. Had a friend hone and turn the upright to fit my park tool clamp on it. Able to have the bike move 1.4m vertically. So BB at chest height to bike wheels on the floor. Clamp can swing 360 deg in both planes. Arm can swing 160 deg allowing me to move bike from work area to work Bench or swing arm out the way against a wall. Arm has an adjustable 1.5m reach.
  9. Awesome. Thank you. You can contact me on 0827877112 as well.
  10. Awesome tools. Do you guys stock something like this. 1/4” and 3/8” speed spinner.
  11. I have a compressor and couldn’t live without it. I have piped air around my workshop with 7 air points. All on retracting spring and coil hoses. All have air nozzles except one which has the parktool inflator for seating tyres. With air at arms reach you use it more and more as you get used to having the convenience of it there. Can see 2 pf them on my work area here. I have a fini 25L 2hp compressor. And it works perfectly. You can get quieter ones or as I am busy doing. You csn box it in to silence the noise.
  12. Thanks a mil. Had a good time doing it and use them daily so very satisfying
  13. Previous owner has a steel frame for a workbench. As you can see quite out of square. So build a new wood frame and wood tops. Also did all my own drawers. First time doing that so was an good experience. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20210220/1ab7ed137c7f39f0203f14d17143388c.jpg https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20210220/d6cdab07ba8e461f729245ca7b210e13.jpg
  14. Shimano Derailluer limit screws and shifter cable caps use the #2 screwdriver.
  15. If you in the jhb area. Come past my shop and I’ll gladly assist you in getting your brakes firm. Dm me for details. Mike.
  16. If you guys want tools or items I show. Let me know. I’ll also be bringing out some custom tools soon for sale. Watch my page.
  17. This is my business. I run a bike shop. I do all the work myself. And collect deliver bikes myself. It’s a passion and my attention to detail and service are the most important things. Have a look at my IG account here https://www.instagram.com/bicycle_supply_chain
  18. Next little project for a tidy and efficient workbench. Version 1 of my cable tie holder. Loving the concept and easy access it offers on the workbench. This one holds 15 different cable ties. 7x100mm. 5x140mm. 1x200. 1x300. 1x370mm.
  19. Foam is out of the Sram Eagle boxes for derailluer, cassettes etc. about 8-9mm deep. Some items I didn’t cut full depth (like bits) where I angled the cut so the one end stands proud to have easy access. The base blue layer is some 2mm foam from a art shop. This was done by hand with a Stanley knife. Plan is to do the whole box with lazer cut foam. I wanted to test the idea. And it has worked fantastic. I plan to use a similar foam for the final iteration.
  20. No this is just for the 1 screwdriver. But it has a cnc and knurled ally handle. And has a fantastic feel and weight to it.
  21. Thank you. That is to cut brake lines and insert a new tail into the line.
  22. Some pics of my trolley that follows me around my bike.
