Are those actual weights or taken off the product sites?

Best value for money were the Planet X stems at 126gr for R230.

ENVE stems are very nice.

 

Taken off Bike24 and then double checked on other sites.

I trust the Germans to weigh everything meticulously ;)

But either way, they will come with big savings in grams and won't dent the pocket too badly.

Time to put some new life into this thread. Post if you like some components ,frames or wheels you come across with specs to drool over and throw in some prices to shock us.

Technically speaking i have lost 8kg which means my bike weighs in the negative kg when im on it. Does this count?

 

Dropping body weight is probably the hardest thing to do than just dropping your wallet. 8kg is impressive.

The top clamp on this looks amazing, that's where most of the weight in a seat post seems to go.

 

Minimalist design. Rider weight though is restricted to 85kg.

Need a definition of BMI? Want to know how to work it out? You're actually a skinny runt with a BMI of 17.56! But as you know, light weight components are for small skininy guys
