GoPro battery life

Just want to check what recording times you guys are getting, before the battedy ia flat and on what settings you have it.

thats what got. Guess i would have to invest in another battery for long rifed.

2 hours. You can get around 4.5 if you add the battery bacpac, otherwise just charge and chuck an extra one in your pack.

Anyone know when the new Battery pack will be available for the GoPro Hero3?

 

I'm aware that the Hero2 pack works/compatible,

 

or will you buy additional Hero3 batteries for in the unit and use the Hero2 Battery pack when you want to extend the life?

I get between 124 mins and 129 mins on the standard battery.

The bacpac is too expensive.

I bought three extra batteries and a charger from Hong Kong on ebay, cost me $24 for everything including postage.

I've never had a problem with Chinese ebay batteries, generally they are the same thing as the original with a different label, been using them on my RC trucks & helicopters for a long time, no issues.

Anyone know who in Jhb has stock of the GoPro hero 3 black editions, maybe in Sandton. Also what other accessories do you recommend I buy straight away ?
