Not everyone fits on a 29er... smaller riders will do better on a 26. And not every course is suited to 29ers.

Very good answer Jacques - Short and sweet! There will always be space for a 26er although 29er is big in demand. Tall people will find the 29er more appropriate where short people will better fit on a 26er. I got both bikes and love both of them. Like playing in the single tracks with a 26er, while the 29er goes very well on district road. The one is NOT better than the other!

There was this road bike race where I shared a downhill ride with a random lady cyclist. Pity the end came so quickly and I had to go look for bike parts

I used to ride a 26" bike now I ride a 29" bike. Im tall, almost 2m tall, I like the 29er or the geometry. Any way back to the topic. How is it possible (or have I rolled over ag I mean missed it) that there is no mention of Freddy got fingerd here? That is a awesome movie!

Stormin Normin - Have you ever ridden a 140 - 150mm 26inch Trail bike ?

pretty dang sure i have ridden a 140mm-150mm trail bike but thats irrelevant because i could probly outride you on any bike.

are you optically myopic too, or is it just a cranial affliction?

This is about 29ers not craniums.

For the OP it seems a symbiotic relationship....

How many 26ers were there in the front bunch of the Epic? I rest my face

How many in that front bunch are private entrants?

You just as much of a chop as the idiot that posted the first topic.

Most likely an inversely proportional type of relationship ...

Pity he only made his appearance now. He could have had such a 'nice' chat with Clin on the Nokia cellphone camera thread. It would have been quite a treat watching them hitting off!

Just imagine, a Nokia 20naainer camera!
