@ Dale. I see your Scalpel and raise you this.

Is this the worlds sexiest 29er?

I really wish I was loaded and a bit taller. I WOULD buy this bike. This is the Foes Shaver. For those that don't know Brent Foes is a legend in DH circles. He was producing 6 inch bikes when people were still wondering about 3 inch forks. When he couldn't get the suspension he wanted from the existing stuff he and his mate Charlie Curnutt made their own. It also comes in a 26er.

He's also built Baja trophy trucks so the man know suspension and Aluminium.

Please. No Jou ma se Foes jokes.

I bumped into Mark Hopkins at Tokai yesterday (PYGA). I must say. I don't like 29ers and I'm not easily impressed but the 2 pyga's that were there were 2 of the nicest bikes i've ever seen. Stunning. I'd say on a par with the Foes Shaver. And that's high praise.

The machining on the rear brake mount reminds me of my Hope brakes (And you know how much I love Hope) and the suspension linkage apparently gets it's inspiration from the Toyota FJ. Apparently Pat Morewood has a thing for them.

Mark had a c-sixx xc single ring guide fitted to his bike and the other guy (Can't rem his name) had a 2 ring guide setup with sliders instead of rollers.

Other guy might well have been Cliff. That slider guide feels and works very well. It is a prototype they are working on.
