Fisher WP Posted August 15, 2012 Share I think "best" is all relative because like you I am looking at a few bikes, the main thing I think is to find a frame you like and feel comfortable on because in time one can upgrade if one feels the need. It also depends on what sort of riding you are going to be doing. I'd argue go with the one with the best combination of frame and components. At the moment i ride mostly Northern Farms but want to start doing some races but not a racing snake just a fierce competitor!!

kingalton Posted August 15, 2012 Share its a difficult one, if you do get into the whole cycling thing, you will definately want to upgrade at a stage, then you are stuck with an entry level bike that you wont get your money back on... so push that budget as far as you can.. But then again, maybe you dont really get into the cycling thing and you keep going on the entry level bike and you are happy... just my opinion, doesnt help really, just planting a seed...use it, dont use it..
