Then 32x16 should be ok for 26"

That's what I'm going to ride. But I think a ride on the course on Friday will decide for me which is the best ratio to run. I saw Grant last night and they're bringing down loads of spares and accessories to sell at SSWC so at worst I can invest in another Endless Cog from him.

If Grant is running a 32x18t, then mere mortals should be opting for a 20t or 21t.

Ja well I'm not surprised... I'm told the route goes half way up the Spioenkop climb. Going to be lots of walkers up there. There is however a more fun option for less serious riders which doesn't go up.

Ok did a quick mock build on friday afternoon...pics as promised

Crank fitted(Truvativ stylo and Fouriers 32t)

Fork fitted(what a beaut)

All I am shorting is some brakes....PS the blue floating rotors will also go, will replace with some G2's I have. Gobi will be replaced with Phenom 155mm team edition

Great looking machine.

Swimming?

Hehe it's one of my secret gears(standing...sitting...walking...swimming). It's when I grab the bar-ends and whilst standing rock from side to side...normally swim when the climb is steep.
