My training routine stopped for 70.3. Give the body some time to heal. Will start the hydrating fase today and then add the carbo loading phase by Thursday. Feels weird, no where to run/cycle or swim to this morning..

Race week! Training done and I am feeling better from my cold I picked up somewhere and now just excited to have fun on Sunday. I am not expecting any fire works this year, but would be happy with:

 

Swim 42 min

T1 7 min

Bike 3:20

T2 5

Run 2:06

 

Total: 6:20

 

To be honest I will be happy just finishing in under 7 hours.

50 % or so chance of light rain, 23 degrees, and wind is forcast to be light. Not ideal, but should be ok

 

That will be as close to perfect racing condition as you will get. I'll take that 50% before betting on the other 50%.

Hardly looks like any wind.

 

My goals are

 

Swim: 35min

Cycle: 2:55 - 3 hours

Run: Um anything under 2 and half hours is a win. I have run 4 km in the last 3 months so i am in for a long day

Hectic Fabes, at that pace you should finish the run in just over 15 months smile.png

It's that week where i am starting to regret signing up for it.
