Cycling time from CT CBD to Houtbay on an MTB?

Hi All

 

Can anybody comment on the average Cycling time from CT CBD to Houtbay on an MTB?

 

We might well move our offices there next April (Small but possible chance) and I would like to get a realistic idea what this would add onto my commute time in the mornings.

Max an extra half an hour I would say?

Seems more like 36 minutes. That's on a road bike with a couple stops while waiting for the group.

 

So budget on 50 minutes.

Doesn't it sort of depend on how fast you ride your mtb?

Thanks all .... 45min would be the mark then as it seems to be the mean average.

Figure on 45mins - 60mins including traffic and wind etc. Nice commute.

You'll need a passport, and nose plugs for the Republic though...

Its about 20km, so I reckon an hour.
