I ride on my own 90% of the time. Looking at doing some mtbiking for some crosstraining and we have some really big long climbs here and nice forest trails

What part of KZN are you in if you mind me asking?

Hi robinh. I am in Paulpietersburg. Our town is situated at the foot of a mountain with a service road going to the top. We also have a railway line circling our town and those service roads are great for easier rides and nice for int. training as well. Some district roads around as well and then all those plantation roads. Couple of years back the guys laid-out some nice trails with bridges across streams etc and some really tough technical sections. They even had some races, but I don't know the condition of the trails as there is not much cycling going on aroung here at the moment

I really like that crank. How is the gear change compared to your previous one?

What fork you thinking of puttin on that puppy?

Not sure about the fork yet, or the other components. I don't have the funds available now to build it, so this is going to be a longer project for me buying components as the funds are available. Gives me lots of time to do proper research, but any suggestions are welcome. I am not looking at top of the range components, but would prefer a double chainring and need good strong wheels as I weigh about 95kg. Pedals will be LOOK and groupset Shimano. Not sure about handlebar, stem and seatpost, but was thinking Ritchey. Thanks for all the positive feedback re the frame. Looks like it is a good frame

That is a sexy frame. I just broke one of the 10 commandments. Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's bike. Nice one, Look695!

Thanks. It is not mine yet. Money still needs to change hands so you can

That frame makes a sweet SS. Ask Iron. And a SS is cheaper. I recently built up an bike with ritchey cockpit; WCS wet black handlebar, white ritchey comp stem, ritchey WCS wet black set post all from CWC and it only cost R1100. Then found a ritchey WCS white saddle that came off a brand new Scott scale R 600 from the lads at dunkeld. Finished the look nicely.
