Okay so how was it for you guys?

Missed a turn off close to the river which cost me alot of time. Not even mentioning positions. A few bottlenecks and portages. All rideable in my opinion.

The wind also didnt make it easy. Otherwise nice and fast and hard on the legs.

Yeah there was some confusion by the river but I just trusted my instincts and came right.

Got stuck behind some guys doing the shorter distances which was a bit annoying. Lost about 10min.

Nice fast route though.

Enjoyed it overall.

Also lost 10min with river confusion .I think the organizers could have cleaned the route from branches and fallen trees .These trails are used daily by the riders in the field .Route preparation 5/10 .Go learn route preparation from the eqstra srping classic guys !

Do you guys think that those black motorized gates towards the end of the 45km route will be open if we want to go and ride the route again?

Doubt it.

It was a good race. It would just be that much better if they can merge the 40km and 65km routes later. Missed the route marker before the river and then got stuck in some congestion. Luckily it wasn't too bad, but still, it would've been avoided if the route hadn't merged by that point.

Was still fun and super fast race! First time ever I went under 3 hours for a Marathon. Quite stoked.

The wind was hectic on Friday afternoon / night. Maybe that caused the fallen branches / trees?
