i must say, this pisses me off as well. And i am also a roadie. Fact is these guys are not children. They should know better. If you knock one down, we all flame the motorist.

I live by the following motto : when i ride at 430 in the morning, i think FOR the motorists, cause anyone on the road that time of the morning is eather drunk or tired :)

Who cares, OP brightened up my day.. I love seeing roadies do their 'thing'. Should I take some pics of mountain bikers in single file on the mountain?

This is a lost cause.. please, no one take this seriously. It was a setup to get you all riled on a Friday.. Some of us will be in the pub by 12 anyway and all will be forgotten.

Why quote me? P&S you seem to have issue with me. Get over it.

You should have hit them ..... With a running slap!

What happened to your thread last Friday? I nearly choked to death when I opened that thread up

Karma, why the apology?

These dumbasses are the first to bitch when one of them gets knocked over.

Agreed.

But we can all get along here, cant we.

You are still doing something illegal !!!!!

prove it.

EDIT: You just assume I took the photo myself, and keep hammering on it to distract yourself from the fact that these 3 were in the wrong.

I think the roadies weren't too bad to be honest, but if you do see them again and feel the urge to knock them over please do so properly and smash them through that wall and then into that tasteless 'Tuscan' <spit> monstrosity of a building. I can deal with Jo'burg's roadies but Jo'burg's pseudo-Tuscan buildings offend him no end.

Don't even get me started on Monte Casino - hey maybe you should take out the whole Cycle Lab bunch one morning as they ride past that monument to low-class taste?

Anger management on a Friday........ priceless!!!!!!

Posts like this always make me laugh - you're telling us you've never speeded on a suburban road, never overtaken on a white line passing a truck doing 20km/h on a straight road, never forgotten to indicate when turning, never rolled through a stop street when you can see the road is clear, never ridden your bike through red light when there's no traffic etc etc?

Careful about implied selective morality - it's a slippery slope to hypocrisy.

They should be on MTBs, off the road.

Ok, maybe I didnt explain my pain with this photo:

These 3 where totally unaware of myself, and cars that went past them before I took the photo.

Down the road, they continued their formation.

**breathe out**

Why should they be off the road. That have as much right as you to use the road.

Apply this to someone who does not even have money to fix their brakes and tell them they must buy a MTB ???? When their only priority is to get money for FOOD!!

Please stop saying it was safe to pass, if you have a look at the photo, there's another road coming in, and if I passed them, I could have been in front of another car coming out there.

Is your car a 700cc without enough power to get past them?

Is that what you use your car for?

You can tell what speed he's doing by the photo??

Nooooo dont be like the OP and many udders here. The mass of a Toyota Corrola is more than 1,6 tons. Just put that down on yourself while it is static and you become a McDonalds Hamburger pattie. When moving at 25km/h as the OP claims, many other dynamics comes to play. You will then look like the ketchup on said MaDonalds burger.
