Also had slaw. Made a big batch, but didn't have any raisins. Took babotie pasties to work, but the instructions were "remove and microwavable" plate, which I didn't have, so bananas and yogurt tided me over till I split a wrap with my best mate - it was her birthday, which was a bonus! - at ORT before she flew out.

There's a question...which airport eateries or food outlets do you suggest or detest?

Finding myself getting hungrier as it gets chillier in the mornings here...

I very seldom fly out of ORT. It's to much of a mission. I'm sure there's a muggers at Jan Smuts :)

Ja, have whiled away an hour or two there before. What's the pub on the inside of departures called these days? Seems to change every time I fly.

Nope, as mentioned on the coffee thingie place thread, It's Jacko's these days. I seem to be an inordinate amount of time at ORT for someone who doesn't fly that much!

Will give it a look-see next Friday when I pop down to Durbs. It'll be my second flight dry...knocking back a few pints has always been a pre-flight must.

Ja, that's airports...mate of mine sent me a pic of his bill...R38 for a local draught!
