just with a SA flavour, how was your commute today?

 

Mine was relatively boring, "played" no-dab, as in try and not touch the ground with my shoe all the way to work.

Great wind-at-my-back ride on Helderberg mtb route from Somerset West to Stellenbosch. Going to be a toughie back home though. Damn South-Easter.

Saw my wife pass me yesterday on the way back home, was fun chasing her car after every stop street

Great took easy ride to work (Santon) after i drop wifs car at woodmead at moderfontein decided to take littel longer rout trough Thornhill ,nice and fresh air after last night rain

i ride everyday except tuesdays ( rest day ) . keep getting punchers latley , getting wet and constantly cut off by taxi's and dumb ass drivers .

 

BUT

 

i would not trade it even a moment in my car , my commutes are part of my training and i love it !

What time do you ride? I try and follow that route from Eikendal Road to Stellies, then around the back of the Blaauwklippen Road and down to Technopark via the vineyards when I can....picked up some pooh splatter on my bottle this AM which wasn't great but otherwise ALWAYS an awesome way to start the day!

I try to leave home at around 6/6:15 am. You? Work in town, ride Eden as well - I'm not fast so that adds 30+min to the ride.
