How much in airtime/data fees would endomondo usage of 30mins a day cost on android phone?

How much in airtime/data fees would endomondo usage of 30mins a day cost on android phone per month? (close estimate would do)

Surely one of you must have average idea by now, having used it for a while? I know it would be free on Blackberry, but Blackberry version of Endomondo does not display pace vs distance like android does.

AFAIK, you can record your ride without using data, and then upload to endomondo when you have a wifi connection

Thanks, but I am not worried about uploading it, I want to see the pace vs distance in realtime while training. Surely to display pace it needs to use gps, which would use data bundle, or am I wrong?

GPS doesn't need data, uploading the GPS data to endomondo/google tracks/sportypal requires data, as well as if you want real time mapping on your phone while you ride

you can switch your data off and still get real time figures...... then simply connect and download later..

it uses GPS for tracking Position tracking and DAta for maps and uploading

so even if you have your data on. it only uses a minuimal amount during the ride..

did CM on friday, with data on so my better half can track me real time. and it used less than a MB.

i do believe if you have endo friends you can do the same method by viewing his workouts through your profile... never really tried it..

Yes and you can do peptalks to encourage your friends, works better when they have earphones on. And it has to be in English, die tannie kan nie so lekker Afrikaans praat nie.

Has anyone used the GarminFit live tracking services? Costs about R15 for a month. Looks like it offers better tracking off a cellphone than Endomondo.

You can easily track people on Google maps usIng google latItude. It works brilliantly. Just download Google maps and make sure the other person has it too. In Google maps go to latitude and invite them to join. When they accept, they can track you. You can also set how closely they can track you. Town or best possible location.
