I remember the last time this event was on the calendar a buck jumped out of the bush & nearly took out the entire A bunch that was the highlight for me.

just checked now it was 2009, a pity I'm doing 94.7 this weekend.

I

I'll take anything... 34x29 or maybe even a triple ring (for the cols, not the mamba). As Pantani said "to use anything more than a 23 is to forfeit one's manhood". That's fine, I've crossed that line so why not go full eunuch!

There can only be one - with or without the 'extra help'.

Looking forward to the race report, MM.

Seeing how your climbing have improved since I last rode with you.

Ha ha ha, STILL hate climbs, but have to get over them! Been much easier since the last time we rode - was killing myself because I had no clue how to work my gears!

You not coming this weekend or you rounding off for DC? Cant stop looking at your bike. Whats the shiny plate on your chainstay behind crank?

Did it once in 2008. The road was'heavy' and I remember the route resembling a 'T' formation turning back onto itself (more like an out-and-back route). The end was eina up that hill that I now hear is called Mamba. Not many riders that day and groups were thrown together. Oh, the race was eina cos I seemed to be one of the unfit guys in 'f'

I saw a reference to race number collection somewhere. As far as I understand normal PPA numbers apply. Is this correct?

I know there is the registration process just before the race, I just don't want any surprises when I get there.

I believe the race number collections is due to the reseeding. If your seeding changed and you want the new number let the PPA know they will charge you 50 ronds and have your new seeded number at the race for collection. Otherwise same old same old.

I only realised afterwards you have the recce. My mind is still 'DEURMEKETAAR' after seeing that pics about a certain Dale.

Just a note to newcomers, If its your 'first' upgrade to a new number then you don't pay, otherwise the 50 Nelsons apply.
