guys, maybe this guy actually enjoyed riding his bike more than being worried what is cool, uncool, classic, not done or vagina shaped. oooh, he is not branded correctly, maybe doesn't have a seemingly endless budget and needs to make do with what he can get etc... so what?

Look - the rant is a bit tongue-in-cheek, the guy is fine and obviously likes his bike this way. I put it up because it looks so incongruous & thought it would get a reaction.

Bit of fun. Laugh at me or laugh at the bike - makes the world go round.

Uhm...have a rookie questionwacko.png - if saddle bags are "uncool" (especially on Italian bikes) where do you keep a spare tyre? Back pocket? or is taping it to your seat post ok?

that's your problem right there smile.png

Hi - I'm not a big one for everything being a certain way, I've got Shimano on my Da Rosa, I dont have a peak on my mtb helmet - I'm not too fussy.

But this??? This??? Tell me its not a crime worse than socks and sandals; or tell us what you've seen that's worse.

The most uncool part of that bike is the number of spacers under the stem, not the handlebars.

Okes - I hate to be the voice of reason but in draft legal dus/tris (thanks Dangler) your tri bars are not allowed to extend beyond your brakes levers (or have open ended tubes). The answer is the bastardised carbon bar you see there.

3T also make a bar with integrated arm pads like this:

I think you meant 'spare tube'. If you are riding tubbies you would need a spare tyre which you would leave at home and just call someone when you get a flat. I have something called a Poc-Pac which holds a spare tube, levers and bombs and it goes in my jerseys back pocket in the middle to balance my weight on the bike. My 2nd pocket on my left is for my munchies and the 3rd pocket on my right is for my cell because I'm right handed.

If i could become rhetoric here, why on earth would you want to ride with a spare tyre ?

Because I dont have a back up vehicle blink.png

Ok...I see the problem. Tube not tyre. oops.gif

I keep my stuff in a small water bottle. Don't like having stuff in my back pockets and it pulls your top down so only carry my cell in my back pocket.
