Thanx very much for the advice. Orbit CE plus headset installed. Bike is ready to roll. Took it for a quick spin before the GF gets her hands on it. Very very smooth over the rough stuff

Not sure of the weight but the frame was 800g heavier then her Trek, but we changed 2 components so far which were 150g lighter so we just need to find another 650g and she is back the the trek weightclap.gif

Man, it seems like all these new (old) Intenses that are coming out of the woodwork are dark blue. You guys sure it isn't a chinese rip-off. tongue.png

Ha ha don't talk to me about the bar ends. They may be super light ones but i has them pointing a bit too much up when i built the bike. Lost some brownie points on the first ride

So headset sorted. I also used a sram front derailer as her conventional XT one didn't fit as it hit the rear triangle. Seems under full load on the rear suspension it also hits rear triangle with the bolt on the sram derailer that you clamp the cable. So the question is what front derailers fit
