Before I throw this away, anyone have any ideas of how to fix it? You can see the crack in the base, was wondering if some layers of fibreglass would work? Not too bothered how it looks as its underneath but would like to see if anything could be done with it.

Saddle was replaced with no issues from Fizik.

You will have to strip the leather and padding and fix it from the top. Repairing that from the bottom, it will just "pop" off with the 1st flex it gets.

just my 2c.

Try stitch welding it with a soldering iron with a flat screwdriver tip. Heat up the soldering iron till hot, place tip across the crack, push it in slowly. Move 3mm sideways and repeat. When yo uhave it all together, flow the plastic nicely back into the holes.

May or may not work... works on car plastic trim.

Drill two holes and bolt a piece of flat iron to the saddle. You will learn how to peddle (sic...... and just to irritate the Nazi's) efficiently while standing up

You are lucky Mojo. Mine cracked in exactly the same place. They didnt want to warranty it. Had to buy a new one. (Maybe the LBS that didnt try very hard)

bad luck there, I bought mine secondhand (although you could see it was brand new) and contacted them directly. I pointed out that I had bought it second hand and had no receipt but all they wanted were the numbers under the saddle, if you still have it prehaps try contacting them directly. I have given up on LBS's contacted suppliers, might as well do it yourself!
