AndyDudes splits are slightly misleading - He climbs like a girl, gets dropped and then needs to chase back like a bat out of hell...

Sorry Big guy, could not resist. clap.gif

Serves you right for leaving us for Joburg!

You teammates are rough!!

:-D

Sure you'll miss the lanky one!

Even if I finished dead last in 2011, I would've still beaten NeverEnder, because he can't stay upright on his bike and takes a lie down over the train tracks...

I saw him when we came past there past Simondium.

And that's a fast stretch!

Ouch!

Yes we will miss the hairy - sorry lanky - one. Tell you what Andy; you point out the train tracks for the old man this year and I will give a little helping push up the climb. And you better burn that sprint as going away present for your team!

Yes that was a nasty crash. Ruined rest of my season. Hopefully the organizer will now refrain from putting down mats in a howling south easter. The mats are much more dangerous that the tracks.

Goodness - was that you?! eek.gif That looked horrible.

I don't know whether the track's officially closed now, but I think so. That crossing (that skew one, NOT the 1st one passing Boschendal) now has been filled up with tar in it and you hardly notice it at all. So no need for mats, either... Just a bump... but of course, still beware, esp if it's wet - you still hit it at an angle.
