The Argument For Long Travel Bikes

"Life is short, trails are even shorter, and I don’t believe there is a single moment spent on the trail when it is acceptable to settle for mediocrity. We should all ride the bikes we find most comfortable, and enjoy them without worrying about what others think"

Enough said

Let me get my credit card as this gives me good reason to go and buy that Voltage FR10 I have been drooling over the last couple of monthsclap.gif

I have to agree,

I love my 160mm travel Titus and it inspires and gives me the confidence to try jumps and things I would never normally do. This past weekend at the Farm, I was getting plenty of air and riding down 60 degree slopes and it isn't because I have talent, it's purely the bike!

Jeesh, I have kona tanuki 130mm travel coming off a mongoose tyax elite with 100mm travel. I have to say that with the extra travel I have started to try more jumps and I am pushing it a bit. Probably gonna need a bigger upgrade somtime soon.

Yes, like all of us, you also got thrashed by the kid on the blue Pyga this past weekend! I think more than just a few people that saw him (with a huge permanent grin) ride that bike, are now also thinking 650B. Sadly, in my own case, I think I need a talent transfusion more than a new bike.
