Them click on their current activity and it shows the map. SWAMBO uses it to know when to start making breakfast when I'm out for a ride :-)
Davey_Jones Posted March 5, 2015 Posted March 5, 2015 Mapmyride is an app that you can load on your smart phone, whether you use iPhone, BB or Android.http://www.mapmyfitness.com/imapmy/They have a premium option that will allow someone like wifey to track your movements on the internet, so this requires your data connection to be active while riding.It is one of the better training tracking apps out there, but not as good as Strava for sure. I have not been able to find any live tracking feature setting on Strava though.to revive an old thread have you seen that Discovery (vitality) now links automatically with mapmyfitness. You need to go to vitality - Vitality Community - Your Profile and reset your mapmyfitness password before you download and install the app. Then login with that username and password on the app. Your rides will upload to server then Discovery will pull them through.

carbon29er Posted March 5, 2015 Posted March 5, 2015 BBM provides a live map feature through Glympse where you share your movements for a selected period of time with a contact on BBM. They can monitor your movements. I use it and it works brilliantly. Free in BBM across all platforms subject only to a data connection.
