Hey Guys,

I'm looking to upgrade my current Ali Jamis to a carbon frame. I've been looking around for a good priced frame and they all way above 11K and more for a name branded frame, @ rouxtjie could you please send me a PM on the process on how to order a frame and what extras did you add to the it. I went to the FIXvii web site and I see they have lots of options but what hanger do I get what seat post ect your help would be appreciated.

PS ! Matt finish looks flipping cool !

Yo....I did a step by step a few pages ago...see here https://community.bikehub.co.za/topic/125808-chinese-carbon-thread/page__st__224#entry1966005

First things, download the spreadsheet and compare geo's with a bike you particularly like or that you ridden before and suits your riding.

@maffias....just to add, take your time when choosing the frame you want...Do a bit of research on it in other forums as well as the manufacturer. Try and ride a friend's bike where you can compare geometries etc etc....some see it as admin, I see it as fun.

I will post frequent update here for okes that want to go the direct route. It does seem quite daunting cause you are still paying loads of cash to someone on the other side of the world. So with that in mind...

Step 1...choose you frame and geometry you like. Used a spreadsheet @morwa posted on the previous chinarello thread, bigups to him for that

Can't download xls, so if 19" 26er HT worked for me, do I stick to 19" 29er DS?

Message sent :-)

Emailed enquiry to hongfu about 29er DS and received reply later in the morning. The FM036 is $700 plus whichever rear shock you need ...

Is there a weight limit on these frames? If so, what is it and will it differ from ht to a ds frame? I am 102 kgs and keen on the above mentioned ds frame
