First time I went out on it I did a mellow ride with lots of gravel road out of giba, and as we were climbing i was like "meeeh, it climbs ok ... I had the suspension on "pedal" and then "lock" as we climbed - and you can feel the slack headangle when you get out of the saddle and try and climb - its properly raked out and takes a bit of getting used to ... Also i had a 1x10 put on with a 32 x 11-36 .. so it climbed ok but i wasnt used to no granny ring. Then we got into some singletrack and the bike instantly felt like i was on my DH bike ... nippy as all hell and just fun ... then we went back down in to giba ... Oh dear lord ... I got half way down the first descent - stopped got off and made my father-in-law try it - its just that good ... I cant even explain how stable it is - the Charger damper in that Pike is NUTS ... so plush ... as plush as the Marzocchi open bath forks of the early 2000's ... But it just stick to the trail like its on rails ... And with a 50mm stem and 800mm bars - its exactly like my DH bike just lighter. If you not a climbing guru ... its THE bike to have. ... No wonder it won Pink Bikes trail bike of the yearHas it made me faster ??? No i doubt it ...Am i having more fun ??? HELL YES

Freaking love that Nomad of yours by the way - And the colour coded wheel decals finish it perfect - Probably the first bike I would buy if I came into a large sum of money with extra to burn. It really helped me to improve my skills and I'm still constantly getting faster, up and down...Decided to make it #Reign instead. Ordered an advanced model, should be here in March. The spec makes more sense rather than upgrading the heck out the trance. Thanks though!
