Cool. Can do sunday AM or Saturday PM. For Jonkers, Sunday probably better as AM.

Ah, courage for Zululand... LOL. Not just yet. My jump game is SERIOUSLY lacking.

was alone in jonkers, and thoroughly enjoy rooikat + red phoenix + firehut, was done in about 2 and half hours

we can just do that, but its moer hard after red phoenix, most of the time, when we a group we bail firehut and get coffee instead

I must say. The Trance was never my first choice for a trail bike. But when I saw her in the flesh. I thought. Whoa. You're kinda sexy aren't you. Can't wait till I have some spare cash for a proper fork. As a performance upgrade. Ag who am I kidding. I just want her all murdered out.

Now I have four Giant bicycles. Something I did not plan that at all.

My Trance went from "Lekker" to "Magic-Carpet-I'll-take-on-the-world" when I swapped the 140mm Fox32 for a 160mm Pike.

IMO Giant did the Trance a disservice when the specced it with a 140mm fork.

I prefer starting with fire huts. For this exact reason. There's so much on the other side. And its such a shame to give em a miss.

well that was the toss, rooikat and phoenix wins over firehuts, but firehuts is like the cherry on top

ie. if you leave it out, you atleast get to have your cake, just no cherry ontop

Btw Myles. The unofficial #training4ezel ride at Jonkers includes all the cherries. Just saying...

Black fork with red decals on your bike will be like a foxy lady wearing her best little black dress with red heels.

Incidentally the Mattoc was a front runner in my fork conundrum, but then a lekker black Friday pike special found its way to me.

Couch pics please and dankie.

One should finish off with firehut, that way it gives you chance to ride almost everything on the other side in the morning coolness and shade. By the time you are done the sons out. Also how else to end a ride with a nice piece of single track almost right at the gate.
