Mellow Posted July 7, 2013 Posted July 7, 2013 Damn. I must admit this is the very last thing I expected to witness after yesterday. It’s like in the good old days. The riders k*k themselves in a stage, up the blood count overnight and come out feeling and looking like “brand new dollar notes” the morning after. Riding like men possessed. Are we watching the same race ? They guys are shtting bricks Cav' and Meezo 2
nochain Posted July 7, 2013 Posted July 7, 2013 Movistar = mountain goats That is one serious team!By far the best lineup we have seen from them.Anyday as good as last years Sky..Saxo also...packed with climbers.
Cippo Posted July 7, 2013 Posted July 7, 2013 (edited) We have a race on our hands. Edited July 7, 2013 by Cippo
Mellow Posted July 7, 2013 Posted July 7, 2013 If they dont attack froome then it doest really matter that he is isolated
Tumbleweed Posted July 7, 2013 Posted July 7, 2013 If Froome withstands this, then it truly will be one of the gutsiest rides of all time! Mellow and Vetseun 2
Cippo Posted July 7, 2013 Posted July 7, 2013 Porte is alone in chasing group. Kennaugh has dropped off.
Vetseun Posted July 7, 2013 Posted July 7, 2013 If they dont attack froome then it doest really matter that he is isolatedToo early still. Me thinks
Vetseun Posted July 7, 2013 Posted July 7, 2013 Porte is alone in chasing group. Kennaugh has dropped off.Porte looks determined to cross
Zook Posted July 7, 2013 Posted July 7, 2013 Not exactly relentless attacks on Froome and I don't see them hurting him if he just sticks with Valverde.
Cippo Posted July 7, 2013 Posted July 7, 2013 Porte looks determined to cross With Froome group chasing leaders I can't see him making up over 2 mins to Froome.
Christie Posted July 7, 2013 Posted July 7, 2013 (edited) Very interesting day, so nice to see uncontrolled racing :-)Perhaps Froome should try some Armstrong vs Ulrich tactics, perhaps even give Moviestar "the look" and then attack them. Edited July 7, 2013 by Christie
Tumbleweed Posted July 7, 2013 Posted July 7, 2013 Is Movistar pacing Froome? From what I've read, no telly at the moment, it sounds like a free ride for him. Fill me in, please... :-)
Zook Posted July 7, 2013 Posted July 7, 2013 No hilltop finish and a long downhill, not that steep at the bottom so a single rider would have a hard time TT'ing it. I think Froome should just sit in the group.
