'Dale Posted July 16, 2013 Author Posted July 16, 2013 Tour treasures found - Quintana and Costs. Loved the racing today and looking forward to the top cyclists coming in It was a tough stage.Hot. Little wind. Fresh legs after rest day. Lots of attacks.
SyncSA Posted July 16, 2013 Posted July 16, 2013 It was impressive how Froome defended every second today. Excellent testing surges by 'Berto. Froome wont let it go, but I it was great seeing the ol aggressive attacking side of 'Berto. Things might not be over yet.... Pity he is not a good TT rider. Hats of to Porte, what a cyclist to have watching your back!
'Dale Posted July 16, 2013 Author Posted July 16, 2013 I'm hoping Quintana can really impress here. Most likely the climbs are not long enough. Tomorrow's course:
SyncSA Posted July 16, 2013 Posted July 16, 2013 Thats a tough TT. Predictions? Another one for Tony?
Cav' Posted July 16, 2013 Posted July 16, 2013 Predictions for tomorrow?A bit hilly for Martin but he should still get top 5. Froome will probably go balls to the wall again- does he ever take it easy. The youngster from OPQS should do well too. SyncSA 1
kosmonooit Posted July 16, 2013 Posted July 16, 2013 Chris meets the press after TdF Stage 16 - bit miffed at El Berto for taking one to many chances and almost taking him out
Butterbean Posted July 16, 2013 Posted July 16, 2013 Haha loved the interview: Journo: why did you follow him(contador)? Froome: yeah you're right, I should have just let him go up the road and take the yellow jersey. Stunning! Haha Pure Savage 1
Agteros Posted July 16, 2013 Posted July 16, 2013 Damn. You are a brave man.Do not mistake fool hardiness with bravery
JGR Posted July 16, 2013 Posted July 16, 2013 Thanks JGR. The spectacle of the Tour, never ever boring !! No wonder Sagan can`t keep his hands to himself !! Them fans
ccc2 Posted July 16, 2013 Posted July 16, 2013 (edited) maybe Movistar will try and get Rui da Costa in a move on the flat stages - see if Sky can defend the yellow. it should also benefit the sprinters teams if Sky have to chase all day. my prediction was a few stages out Edited July 16, 2013 by ccc2
'Dale Posted July 17, 2013 Author Posted July 17, 2013 Froome Dawg facing scrutiny - is his performances credible, the media stirs
