SyncSA Posted July 21, 2013 Posted July 21, 2013 Amazing 3 weeks coming to an end. Exceptional cycling by the Top 3 cyclist and Porte. Froome deserving the victory. Love the attitude in the group today, even though 'Berto lost out to a poduim position, there are no hard feelings. Next time 'Berto! Well done Froome PS - Sagan and J'rod have a new fan.
'Dale Posted July 21, 2013 Author Posted July 21, 2013 Let's take this moment to extend happy healing notes to the some of the 28 riders who have left the race through crash or illness, including Cannondale's Ted King, who separated his shoulder on stage 1 and was time cut in the TTT.
JoeyK Posted July 21, 2013 Posted July 21, 2013 The more I see of Sagan the more I like the guy. enjoying the groen bokkie. Cav lost a few points with his pushing and jumping.  So, who will win the sprint today? Looks like it is a good sprint for Cav and Kittel. I hope Sagan will take it though. Vetseun 1

'Dale Posted July 21, 2013 Author Posted July 21, 2013 Le Coq Sportif will present this year’s Tour winner – almost certainly Chris Froome (Sky) – and three five-time winners of the race with a sequined yellow jersey. Â
rock Posted July 21, 2013 Posted July 21, 2013 was contadors win in 2007 not his first tour? nah, 31st in 2005.......
'Dale Posted July 21, 2013 Author Posted July 21, 2013 Other than unannounced weight tests... The UCI confirmed to BikeRadar that they had also been sweeping bikes for electrical assistance. Fabian Cancellara was accused of using a motor when he won Paris-Roubaix and the Tour of Flanders in 2010. Chris Froome’s Pinarello Bolide was one of the bikes checked for electrical assistance after the mountain time trial on stage 17 to Chorges.  Matthieu Mottet, technical co-ordinator at the UCI, said they removed seat posts and inserted a small camera in the downtube. For frames with integrated seatposts, the crank was removed and the camera inserted.
JoeyK Posted July 21, 2013 Posted July 21, 2013 Sagan at sign-in...  Hehe. Entertainer and crowd pleaser. Great to see Sagan with this sense of humor. Might be just what the tour needs after the whole Lance debacle.
'Dale Posted July 21, 2013 Author Posted July 21, 2013 Â The peloton is still enjoying the party atmosphere but that will change in 25km when they enter the Champs Elysees for the first time.Â
